Lorie, who was also known as Lorie Lamont, achieved a lifelong dream of living on the island of Maui. She paddled recreationally with the Na Kai ‘Ewalu Canoe Club and she ran a company for over 25 years called “The Plant Lady.” Sadly, she passed away at the age of 54 on September 18, 2015 at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
