Robert Steadman, a two-time Marine Corps Purple Heart recipient, and veteran of the Korean War, spent thirty years (ten at Interlake) as a Special Education teacher in the Bellevue School District. He passed away at the age of 81 on August 19th, 2012, after a courageous two-and-a-half year battle against lung cancer.
