Daniel James Christian, an electronics salesman from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, died of cancer in Kona Community Hospital on August 11, 2013. He was 62 years old. Dan graduated with the first senior class of Interlake High School, and he later served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was also a prominent member of the Northwest music scene in the late 60s, as he was lead singer for the bands Cincinnati Rail and Oscar Thickfoot.
