Nancy, aka Nancy C. Hekkelman, spent years in the Edmonds school district. She was a braillist for visually impaired and totally blind students. She was also a poet and the author of a children’s book. Sadly, Nancy passed away in Longmont, Colorado on December 14, 2016, at the age of 63.
