Dennis “Dee” Erickson, the self-proclaimed “black sheep of the family”, passed away on August 20th, 2026.
After growing up in Bellevue, Dee moved to Helena, Montana for several years. After Montana, he found his way back “home” and moved back to the Seattle area.
Dee was a Nascar fan through and through, rarely missing a Sunday race. He was also a big fan of all Seattle sports teams, and rooted for them faithfully.
Dee struggled with health issues for the past few years. Heart failure and stage 4 lung cancer being his main fights. Knowing he is no longer in pain brings some comfort but it doesn’t lessen the immense feeling of loss we feel without him here.
RIP “Lil’Brother.” March 2, 1958 ~ August 20, 2026.
Sadly, Dee is not the only member of his family on this page. His older brother Lonnie passed away in November of 2024.
