Ronald Camp served four years in the U.S. Army and two years in the U.S. Navy. He was killed in a motorcycle accident on October 5, 1981. The accident occurred when a semi truck ran a stop sign and he dumped his bike to slide under it, hitting his head on the tire carrier.
