Taylor was a longtime choir teacher at Bellevue High School, but also taught briefly at Interlake between 1992 and 93. He died of a heart attack in Bellevue on July 16th, 1999.

Steven was a sergeant in the U.S. Army, and died on July 12, 1999, after falling into Lake Union. He is buried at Tahoma National Cemetery.
