Holly Edwards

Holly, aka Holly Edwards Burrill, was a beloved Seattle-based rock vocalist known as a “Queen of Seattle Rock and Roll.” She sang for the cover band Bad Batch and was celebrated for her powerful vocals, vibrant personality, passion for local music, and connection with people from all walks of life. Outside of her music, she was also an amazing decorator/designer. Not only with flowers at her job, but she decorated herself whimsically and creatively in what she wore, bringing joy just by looking at her. Although the most important way she decorated was with her immense aura of love and light. She lit up every community she was ever a part of.

Holly often shared videos of her singing online. She even continued to perform in 2026 despite being diagnosed with terminal cancer. In accordance with her wishes, a final musical event was held in her honor on March 5, 2026, which she considered her send-off. At this event she was recognized for her dedicated following, and her ability to bring joy to others through her music. She even took the stage one final time to sing “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’.”

Sadly, Holly Edwards, “a sweetest most beautiful angel”, died on March 28, 2026 after a battle with lung cancer. She was sixty years old.
